Equipment
  • Ball
  • Cones
Setup
  1. Area: 10x10 yard area marked with cones
  2. Team Red: 2 red outfield players start inside the square as defenders
  3. Team Blue: 4 blue outfield players start spaced evenly around the outside of the square as attackers
  4. Equipment: Cones marking the four corners of the 10x10 yard area, 1 ball used by the attacking players
Instructions
  1. The outside teams aim to complete ten consecutive passes without interception.
  2. The defending team inside the square tries to intercept the ball.
  3. If the defenders win the ball, switch roles with the team that lost possession.
Coaching Points
  • Communicate effectively within the team.
  • Maintain good angles and distances for support.
  • Use a quality first touch and keep your head up.
  • Make accurate passes, focusing on timing and disguise.
  • Provide two passing options by staying open.
  • Keep passes on the ground and encourage quick ball movement.
  • Reinforce the pass-and-move routine consistently.
Variations
Make it harder:
1. Reduce the playing area to increase pressure.
2. Limit the number of touches each player can take.
3. Add another defender inside the square.
Make it easier:
1. Increase the size of the playing area.
2. Allow more touches for the outside players.
3. Reduce the number of consecutive passes needed to score a point.
