Equipment
  • Balls
  • Cones
  • Bibs/Pinnies
Setup
  1. Area: 20x20 yard area marked with cones
  2. Team Red: 2 red outfield players spaced evenly across the area
  3. Team Blue: 2 blue outfield players spaced evenly across the area, interspersed among the red players
  4. Equipment: cones marking the four corners of the 20x20 yard area, 1 ball used for the drill
Instructions
  1. Teams aim to complete a set number of consecutive passes using hand throws below head height.
  2. The defending team tries to intercept by touching the ball.
  3. Players must spread out and maintain movement to evade defenders.
  4. Switch roles after a set time or successful pass streak.
  5. Optionally, play for a timed period with the defending team attempting to keep possession if they win the ball.

  • Emphasize effective communication during play.
  • Encourage precision and control in passing techniques.
  • Ensure continuous movement to create passing opportunities.
  • Focus on the first touch and quick decision-making.
  • Monitor player performance and adjust intensity.

Variations
Make it harder:
1. Reduce the playing area size.
2. Increase the number of passes required for scoring.
3. Allow defenders to intercept with stricter rules.
Make it easier:
1. Enlarge the playing area.
2. Decrease the required number of passes for point scoring.
3. Give attackers more time to make each pass.
