- Balls
- Bibs
- Cones/Markers
Setup
- Area: 20x20 yard area marked with cones
- Team Red: 1 red outfield player (shark) starts inside the marked area, dribbling a ball

- Equipment: cones marking the corners/boundary of the 20x20 yard area, 1 ball per player, 1 bib per fish player
Instructions
- Fish try to avoid sharks while dribbling their ball.
- Sharks attempt to steal a fish's bib by dribbling after them.
- Once a bib is captured, the shark returns it to the coach.
- Fish visit the coach to retrieve their bib and rejoin the game.
- Rotate roles periodically so fish become sharks and vice versa.
Coaching Points
- Encourage consistent movement and energy.
- Promote scanning the area to improve spatial awareness.
- Focus on close ball control with various foot parts.
- Ensure the session remains fun and age-appropriate.
- Minimally intervene; let the game teach the players.
Variations
Make it harder:
1. Reduce the playing area to increase difficulty.
2. Increase the number of sharks relative to fish.
Make it easier:
1. Enlarge the playing area to give fish more space.
2. Decrease the number of sharks so fish have less pressure.
