- Group: 1 player starts with a ball, positioned inside the area
- Equipment: Balls, one per player; cones marking the corners/boundary of the 22x22 yard area
Instructions
- Players perform a step-over, feigning to take the ball with one foot, then switching feet.
- Begin with the ball stationary, executing each step deliberately.
- Increase touch speed and introduce different ball manipulation techniques.
- Transition the move into more game-like scenarios to enhance decision-making.
- Repeat skill drills focusing on the less dominant foot.
Coaching Points
- Accelerate after completing the move.
- Maintain close control of the ball.

- Perfect the technique for smoother execution.
- Enhance speed through regular practice.

Variations
Make it harder:
1. Combine two moves in quick succession.
2. Increase the playing area to challenge coverage and speed.
3. Introduce opposition pressure to simulate a game environment.
Make it easier:
1. Practice the step-over at a slower pace.
2. Limit movement to a small section of the grid to focus on precision.
3. Allow players to use only their dominant foot initially.
