- Cones

Setup
- Area: 30x35 yard area marked with cones
- Goals: One small goal at each end of the area
- Team Red: 3 red outfield players start in their own half
- Team Blue: 3 blue outfield players start in their own half
- Neutral: 2 black bounce players positioned outside the boundary, one assigned to each team along the sideline
- Equipment: Cones marking the 30x35 area, one small goal at each end, balls, bibs to distinguish teams
Instructions
- Start with each team in their half, aiming to score in the opposite small goal.
- Teams must use their bounce player outside for at least one pass before attempting to score.
- Bounce players offer support and facilitate play without stepping inside the playing area.
- Play is continuous, focusing on maintaining possession and quick passing.
Coaching Points
- Communicate effectively with teammates.
- Create space and offer angles for support.
- Ensure accurate and well-timed passes.
- Keep your head up to survey the field.
- Use strategic forward passes when possible.
- Adjust body shape to receive and pass efficiently.
- Maintain composure under pressure.
- Quickly transition from defense to attack.
- Utilize bounce players to maintain possession.
Variations
Make it harder:
1. Reduce the playing area to increase pressure.
2. Limit the number of touches allowed per player.
3. Add a neutral player inside the playing area for additional pressure.
Make it easier:
1. Expand the playing area for more space.
2. Allow bounce players to enter the field briefly.
3. Permit unlimited touches to build confidence.
