- Balls

Setup
- Area: 20x40 yard rectangular area marked with cones
- Group: 4 outfield players, 2 stood on each end line of the area
- Equipment: cones marking the four corners of the rectangular area, balls provided to the players on one end line
Instructions
- A player from one end serves the ball aerially to the opposite side.
- The receiving player controls the ball and passes it to their teammate.
- The teammate returns the ball to the serving end.
- Continuously rotate roles with each pass.
Coaching Points
- Use cushion or wedge technique for controlling the ball
- Decide early on the surface to use for control
- Keep your head up
- Align your body with the ball's trajectory
- Ensure pass accuracy and appropriate weight
- Employ a good first touch
- Position yourself at a receiving angle
- Focus on quality ball control
Variations
Make it harder:
1. Increase the distance of the aerial pass to 40 yards.
2. Use one touch to control and pass.
3. Introduce a time limit for ball control and pass.
Make it easier:
1. Decrease the passing distance to 20 yards.
2. Allow two touches before passing.
3. Use a larger ball for easier control.
