Instructions
- The defending team passes the ball to the attacking team and follows their pass.

- Defenders try to regain possession; if successful, roles switch.
- Continue the drill with quick restarts using the balls around the area, changing roles each turn.
Coaching Points
- Communicate effectively among team members
- Use good angles and distances to offer support
- Maintain a good first touch and keep your head up
- Ensure accuracy, timing, and disguise in passing
- Move intelligently to receive, creating space and options
- Pass quickly and with confidence, ensuring two passing options
- Defenders should quickly regain possession and counter-attack when opponents are unbalanced
- Emphasize technique in receiving and passing to gain positional advantage
Variations
Make it harder:
1. Reduce the size of the playing area for increased difficulty in controlling the ball.
2. Introduce a time limit for each attacking attempt to increase pressure.
3. Allow defenders to tackle immediately after the exchange pass.
Make it easier:
1. Increase the playing area size to give players more space and time.
2. Remove the time constraints on attacking plays.
3. Allow attackers a free touch before defenders can engage.
