Equipment
- Balls (one per player)
- 4 Cones (marking a 20x20 yard area and corners)
Setup
- Area: 20x20 yard area marked with cones at each corner
- Group: 1 player starts inside the area with a ball, spaced evenly with any additional players
- Equipment: 1 ball per player, 4 cones marking the corners of the 20x20 yard area
Instructions
- Players dribble their ball within the area, focusing on control and technique.
- On the coach's command, players stop their ball using their foot.
- Players then run to touch the nearest corner cone.
- After touching a cone, they run to a different ball and resume dribbling.
- Repeat the drill as desired, emphasizing close control and awareness.
Coaching Points
- Encourage players throughout the session.
- Maintain spatial awareness and avoid collisions.
- Use different parts of the foot for ball control.
- Vary dribbling speeds to suit the situation.
- Keep the ball close to maintain control.
- Ensure all players are actively participating and having fun.

Variations
Make it harder:
1. Reduce the size of the playing area to increase difficulty.
2. Introduce passive defenders that players must avoid while dribbling.
Make it easier:
1. Increase the size of the playing area for more space.
2. Allow players to choose any cone to run to, reducing decision-making pressure.
