Equipment, Setup & Instructions
Equipment
- Balls (1-2)
- Cones/Markers for the playing area and zones
Setup
- Area: 25x20 yard area marked with cones and divided into four equal zones (two end zones and two central zones)
- Team Blue: 4 blue outfield players positioned as attackers in one end zone
- Team Red: 4 red outfield players positioned as attackers in the opposite end zone
- Neutral: 4 black neutral players — 1 stationed in each end zone as the pressing defender for that zone, and 2 stationed in the central zone ready to receive and distribute passes
- Equipment: 1 ball in play at the start (optionally a 2nd ball added later); cones/markers outlining the 25x20 yard area and marking the boundaries of the four zones
Instructions
- Players in the end zone start with the ball, aiming to pass to the opposite zone.
- A player from the receiving zone can drop into the central zone to receive and distribute the ball.
- Central zone defenders attempt to intercept passes.
- Rotate defensive and attacking roles frequently.
- Progress by including a second ball.
