Equipment, Setup & Instructions
Equipment
  • Soccer Balls
  • Cones (for 15x15 yard grid setup)
Setup
  1. Area: 15x15 yard grid marked with cones
  2. Group: 1 blue outfield player starts inside the grid dribbling a ball freely

  4. Equipment: cones marking the corners of the 15x15 yard grid, 1 soccer ball per outfield player
Instructions
  1. Players dribble freely in the grid using both feet.
  2. On the coach's signal, all players perform a chosen turn and accelerate into space.

  4. Encourage creativity and different turning techniques.
Coaching Points
  • Ensure quality first touch to maintain control.
  • Execute precise and effective turns.
  • Accelerate into space immediately after turning.

Variations
Make it harder:

2. Decrease the grid size to 12x12 yards for tighter control challenges.
Make it easier:
1. Start with a passive defender who applies no pressure.
2. Increase the grid size to 18x18 yards for more space to maneuver.
