  • Flat cones for marking lines
  • 11 Bibs
  • 10 Balls
Setup
  1. Area: Full pitch, divided by four horizontal lines marked with flat cones.
  2. Goals: One goal at each end of the pitch.
  3. Team Red: 6 red outfield players arranged in a 3-2-1 formation across their own half, in front of their goal.
  4. Team Red GK: 1 yellow goalkeeper positioned on the goal line of the red team's goal.
  5. Team Blue: 10 blue outfield players arranged in a 2-3-2-3 formation spanning the four marked lines from their own goal toward the opponent's goal.
  6. Team Blue GK: 1 yellow goalkeeper positioned on the goal line of the blue team's goal, ready to start play by distributing to the outfield players.
  7. Equipment: Flat cones marking four horizontal lines across the pitch, spaced evenly between the two goal lines.
Instructions
  1. The game starts with the goalkeeper playing out from the back.
  2. The attacking team tries to build play using the lines and attack the opponent's goal.
  3. If the defending team wins the ball, they attempt to counter-attack the attacking team's goal.
  4. Allow progressions by letting players move between lines while maintaining team shape through rotation.
  5. Individual challenges can be given to players to maintain engagement.
Coaching Points
  • Use the marked lines as references for positioning during different game stages.
  • Encourage diagonal passing and quick 1-2 plays.
  • Work on passing between the lines for effective build-up.
  • Maintain football-specific movements to improve physical endurance.
  • Ensure players consistently move the ball with confidence among teammates.
  • Emphasize the importance of angles of support, enabling teammates to receive the ball effectively.
  • Encourage pressing the ball while maintaining the team's defensive shape.
Variations
Make it harder:
1. Add an extra player to the defending team to increase defensive pressure.
2. Limit the number of touches per player to promote quicker decision-making.
3. Narrow the space between lines to enhance passing accuracy.
Make it easier:
1. Reduce the number of defenders to decrease defensive pressure on the attacking team.
2. Allow players to move freely between lines with fewer positional restrictions.
3. Widen the space between lines to make passing easier.
