Equipment, Setup & Instructions
Equipment
  • Cones (for the area)
  • Small gates (2)
  • Balls
Setup
  1. Area: 10x15 yard area marked with cones
  2. Goals: One small gate centred on each of the two short end lines
  3. Team Blue: 1 blue attacker starts directly behind the gate on one end line
  4. Team Red: 1 red defender starts directly behind the gate on the opposite end line
  5. Neutral: 2 black neutral players, one on each sideline, free to reposition along their sideline
  6. Coach: 1 grey coach positioned outside the area near one end line with a supply of balls
  7. Equipment: Cones marking the corners and edges of the 10x15 yard area, plus 2 small gates positioned centrally on each end line
Instructions
  1. The coach passes a ball to the attacker to start the drill.
  2. The attacking player attempts to score by dribbling through the defender's gate or passing to a neutral player for a wall pass.
  3. Neutral players can reposition along the sideline and may take a maximum of two touches.
  4. The attacker must decide whether to dribble or use a pass based on the defender's positioning.
  5. Encourage quick decision-making and execution.

1. Increase the area size to provide more space.
2. Permit neutral players to have unlimited touches.
3. Give the attacker a head start before the defender can engage.
