- Cones or markers
Setup
- Area: 30x30 yard area marked with cones
- Team Red: 4 red outfield players spaced evenly across the area
- Team Blue: 4 blue outfield players spaced evenly across the area
- Equipment: Cones marking the corners of the 30x30 yard area, spare balls placed at intervals around the perimeter for quick restarts
Instructions
- Each team starts with the objective of maintaining possession.
- Teams earn a point after completing a set number of consecutive passes.
- Use spare balls to quickly restart play if the ball goes out of bounds.
- Continue the game for a set time or until a team reaches a target score.
Coaching Points
- Constant communication among teammates
- Develop a good first touch and keep your head up
- Always be aware of your surroundings
- Move the ball into open spaces and off straight lines
- Focus on pass quality: accuracy, timing, and disguise
- Choose the right passing technique for the situation
- Adjust your first touch to gain a positional advantage
- Show good movement to support the ball
- Receive with the furthest foot to create space

Variations
Make it harder:
1. Reduce the grid size to increase challenge.
2. Increase the number of consecutive passes needed to score a point.
Make it easier:
1. Increase the grid size for more space.
2. Decrease the number of consecutive passes needed to score a point.
3. Allow one touch for each player per possession before passing.
