Equipment, Setup & Instructions
Equipment
  • Small goals
  • Cones for marking zones
  • Balls
Setup
  1. Area: 35x30 yard area divided into three zones by cones, with two end zones marked diagonally for shooting focus
  2. Goals: One small goal centred on each end line
  3. Team Red: 2 red outfield players, one acting as the lone defender in each half's 3v1 game
  4. Team Red GK: 2 yellow goalkeepers, one positioned on the goal line at each end of the area
  5. Team Blue: 6 blue outfield players, three positioned in each half combining to create shooting opportunities
  6. Equipment: Cones marking the boundaries of the 35x30 area and the three internal zones, with diagonal cone markings in each end zone for the shooting focus, plus balls for shooting
Instructions
  1. Goalkeeper rolls the ball to the attacking team (blue).
  2. Blue team combines to create shooting opportunities from their half.
  3. Blue attacker in the attacking half follows up shots and reacts to rebounds.
  4. Attackers can lay the ball back to the central zone, with support moving forward to shoot.
  5. Goals from a lay-off or first-time shots/rebounds score double.

Variations
Make it harder:
1. Limit the time attackers have to shoot.
2. Reduce the size of the shooting area.
3. Introduce an additional defender per half.
Make it easier:
1. Allow attackers more time on the ball.
2. Expand the scoring zones.
3. Eliminate the central line restriction so attackers can move freely.
