Equipment, Setup & Instructions
Equipment
  • Cones for the 30x30 playing area
  • Additional cones for 2-yard wide gates
  • 2 or more soccer balls
  • Portable goals or markers for each gate
Setup
  1. Area: 30x30 yard area marked with cones
  2. Goals: Four 2-yard wide gates, one centred on each side of the area
  3. Team Red: 3 red outfield players spaced evenly across the central area
  4. Team Blue: 3 blue outfield players spaced evenly across the central area, mixed among the red players
  5. Team Red GK: 3 yellow goalkeepers positioned one at each of three of the four gates, shared to defend all four gates on rotation
  6. Equipment: cones marking the corners and sides of the 30x30 area, additional cones marking the 2-yard wide gate on each of the four sides, 2 or more soccer balls started distributed equally among the 6 outfield players
Instructions
  1. Field teams aim to score in any goal while the goalkeeper team defends.
  2. Once a goal is scored, the team that concedes gathers quickly to restart defense.
  3. Rotate teams after a set time or number of goals, allowing the highest-scoring team to choose their role next.
  4. Continue play for several rounds, tracking the number of goals each team scores.

1. Increase the size of the playing area.
2. Allow field players more time with the ball.
3. Use fewer balls to simplify gameplay.
