Equipment, Setup & Instructions
Equipment
  • Cones for marking the playing area
  • 4 Small goals
  • Soccer balls
Setup
  1. Area: 50x40 yard area marked with cones
  2. Goals: 4 small goals, one positioned at each side of the area
  3. Team Red: 1 red outfield player starts in the center of the area, with the rest of that team's players waiting off the field in their designated area
  4. Team Blue: 1 blue outfield player starts in the center of the area, with the rest of that team's players waiting off the field in their designated area
  5. Neutral: 2 black outfield players, one from each of the remaining two teams, start in the center of the area alongside the red and blue players, with their teammates waiting off the field in their designated areas
  6. Coach: 1 grey coach positioned at the center of the area to start play by passing the ball in
  7. Equipment: Cones marking the 50x40 yard playing area, 4 small goals one on each side of the area, soccer balls for play
Instructions
  1. Coach starts play by passing the ball to the center.
  2. Players attempt to score on their designated goal with at least 5 small touches beforehand.
  3. If a player scores, an additional teammate joins from their waiting area.
  4. Continue until a team has all players on the field and scores.

  • Maintain close ball control at all times
  • Decide when and where to dribble effectively
  • Use disguise and feints to evade opponents
  • Keep your head up to spot opportunities
  • Focus on accelerating into space with control
  • Use both feet to dribble and change direction
  • Communicate and work as a team
  • Exhibit a positive and confident attitude
  • Understand body positioning for shielding and turning
  • Focus on technical mastery and decision-making
Variations
Make it harder:
1. Reduce the size of the playing area.
2. Increase the minimum number of touches before a shot to 8.
3. Add an extra defender in the center.
Make it easier:
1. Increase the playing area size.
2. Reduce the minimum number of touches before shooting to 3.
3. Allow more time to make decisions by pausing play after goals.
