Equipment
- Markers for a 30x30 yard area
- 5-yard wide mini goals
- Cones for a 2-yard wide ball zone
- Goalkeepers
- Five footballs per team
Setup
- Area: 30x30 yard area marked with markers
- Goals: One 5-yard wide mini goal on each of two opposite sides of the square
- Team Red: 2 red defenders, one positioned in each 2v1 game between the central ball zone and their own goal
- Team Red GK: 2 yellow goalkeepers, one on the goal line of each mini goal
- Team Blue: 4 blue attackers, two positioned in each 2v1 game beside the central ball zone facing their goal
- Equipment: cones marking the 30x30 yard area, a 5-yard wide mini goal on each of two opposite sides, cones marking a 2-yard wide ball zone in the centre, and five footballs per team placed in the ball zone
Instructions
- Start with the first ball from the ball zone.
- Attackers aim to score against the defender and goalkeeper.
- Once a ball exits play or is saved, it remains out.
- Attackers retrieve the next ball from the ball zone.
- Continue the 2v1 until all five balls are used.
- Score as many goals as possible; the team with the most goals wins.

- Decide when to dribble, pass, or shield
- Focus on the quality of technique to beat opponents
- Demonstrate quick acceleration and sharp movements
- Execute technical dribbles under pressure

- Experiment with individual creativity and flair
Variations
Make it harder:
1. Reduce the playing area to increase pressure.
2. Introduce an additional defender for each 2v1.
3. Limit the number of touches attackers can take.
Make it easier:
1. Expand the playing area to provide more space.
2. Remove the goalkeeper to simplify scoring.
3. Allow more time per attacking attempt to reduce pressure.
