Equipment, Setup & Instructions
Equipment
  • Balls
  • Cones for marking the area
Setup
  1. Area: 20x15 yard area marked with cones
  2. Group: 3 black players form a single line inside the area, with 1 player holding a ball at the front of the line, 1 player at the back of the line, and 1 player between them forming the tunnel by bridging on hands and feet or straddling
  3. Equipment: 4 cones marking the corners of the 20x15 yard area, 1 ball at the front player's feet
Instructions
  1. The player at the front passes the ball through the tunnel to the last player.
  2. The first player joins the start of the tunnel.
  3. The last player dribbles to the front and prepares to pass.
  4. The new player at the back receives the next pass.
  5. Continue until all players have passed and rotated.
Coaching Points
  • Monitor players for correct technique and effort.
  • Encourage gradual intensity increase.
  • Progressively raise intensity to elevate heart rate.
  • Ensure proper hydration during warm-ups.
  • Incorporate elements relevant to the main session.
  • Emphasize the importance of proper warm-up to prepare body and mind.
Variations
Make it harder:
1. Reduce the size of the playing area to increase difficulty.
2. Require players to use weaker foot for passing.
Make it easier:
1. Increase the size of the playing area.
2. Allow players to stand instead of bridging for easier pass through the tunnel.
