Instructions
- On the coach’s signal, one player from each team sprints to the center to retrieve a ball.
- Players dribble the ball back, aiming to score in their mini goal using close ball control.
- Continue until all balls are retrieved. The team with the most goals wins.
- Optional: Encourage using opposite feet or performing tricks before scoring.
Coaching Points
- Encourage active participation and enjoyment.
- Promote spatial awareness and quick decision-making.
- Focus on close control and using different foot parts.
- Facilitate the session to let the game teach players.
Variations
Make it harder:
1. Require players to dribble with their non-dominant foot.
2. Introduce a skill move before attempting to score.
Make it easier:
1. Increase the size of the playing area.
2. Allow players to pick up and carry the ball back to their goal.
