Equipment, Setup & Instructions
Equipment
  • One ball per player
  • Cones to mark the 20x20 meter area
Setup
  1. Area: 20x20 yard area marked with cones
  2. Group: 1 red outfield player starts inside the area with a ball at their feet
  3. Equipment: Cones marking the corners of the 20x20 yard area
Instructions
  1. Players dribble freely within the area, maintaining close control.
  2. On command, players stop the ball quickly using one foot.
  3. Players resume dribbling with the opposite foot.
  4. Repeat several times, varying the length of time between commands.

  • Encourage players consistently
  • Maintain close ball control
  • Keep head up to improve space awareness
  • Emphasize using different foot surfaces
  • Adjusting speed when dribbling

1. Reduce the size of the area to increase difficulty.
