Coaching Points
  • Create supportive angles and maintain close ball control.
  • Use effective communication and disguise movements.
  • Anticipate the first touch and keep your head up.
  • Master different dribbling techniques to create space and scoring opportunities.
  • Decide when to dribble or pass based on the situation.
  • Engage in 1v1 and 2v1 situations to exploit space.
  • Build confidence in maintaining possession and executing end products.
Variations
Make it harder:
1. Reduce the playing area to increase pressure.
2. Introduce a time limit for scoring to increase urgency.
3. Allow only one goal to be open for scoring to challenge decision-making.
Make it easier:
1. Increase the playing area to allow more time on the ball.
2. Add an extra player per team to create a 3v3 situation.
3. Remove one of the defensive goals to simplify scoring opportunities.
