Instructions
- Coach calls out a number (or numbers) to select players for the 1v1 duel.

- Players return to their lines for the next duel.
Coaching Points
- Keep heads up to anticipate defender movements.
- Use feints and quick direction changes to unbalance the opponent.
- Utilize the sole, inside, and outside of the foot for close control.
- Maintain a low center of gravity for balance and agility.
- Shield the ball from defenders when possible.
- Start the duel with accurate and controlled passes.
- React quickly when the number is called.
- Promote sportsmanship and fair play.
Variations
Make it harder:
1. Reduce the grid size to increase difficulty.
2. Initiate with two defenders instead of one.
Make it easier:
1. Increase the grid size for more space to maneuver.
2. Allow the dribbler to start without an immediate defender challenge.
