Equipment
- Balls (one per player)
- Cones (to mark the 20x20 area)
Setup
- Area: 20x20 yard area marked with cones
- Group: 1 player spaced evenly within the marked area with a ball (add additional players as needed, each spaced evenly within the area with their own ball)
- Equipment: Cones marking the corners/perimeter of the 20x20 yard area, 1 ball per player
Instructions
- Players dribble within the area using the stop-start technique.
- Use the sole of the foot to stop the ball, then swiftly roll it forward to continue dribbling.
- Progress from stationary ball practice to dribbling with movement.
- Gradually increase dribbling speed and incorporate fakes.
- Encourage decision-making on when and where to use the move.
- Transition to small-sided games to apply skills in a game context.

Variations
Make it harder:
1. Reduce the size of the area to increase difficulty.
2. Add passive defenders to simulate game pressure.
3. Allow only non-dominant foot usage.
Make it easier:
1. Increase the area size for more room.
2. Allow players to pause without rushing.
3. Remove the requirement for fakes initially.
