Equipment
- Cones or markers to define the practice area
- One ball per player
Setup
- Area: 20x20 yard area marked with cones
- Group: 1 player starts with a ball positioned 2 yards in front of their body, feet together forming the triangle's other two corners, ball starting under the right foot
- Equipment: Cones or markers marking the corners of the 20x20 yard area, one ball per player
Instructions
- Place the sole of the right foot on the ball and pull it back towards the right inside foot.
- Quickly play the ball to the left inside foot.
- Use the left inside foot to pull the ball back to the sole of the right foot.
- Maintain continuous ball movement throughout the drill.
- Begin at a slow pace and gradually increase speed and complexity based on progress.
- Progress from moving a stationary ball to incorporating additional moves when comfortable.

- Maintain close control of the ball
- Keep your head up to survey the field
- Develop a positive and focused attitude towards improvement
- Refine the technique of each movement
- Increase speed as you gain confidence
- Keep knees slightly bent
- Stay light on your feet
- Establish a consistent rhythm
- Strive for fluent and speedy motions
- Master each technique distinctly and with precision
- Train to have minimal glances at the ball
- Aim for comfort with each move
- Foster improved touch, balance, coordination, and feel for the ball
Variations
Make it harder:
1. Increase the speed of execution under time constraints.
2. Add a feint or deceptive movement before changing the side of the ball.
Make it easier:
1. Allow players to stop and reset between moves.
2. Decrease the size of the triangle for easier control.
3. Practice initially with a stationary ball before progressing to continuous motion.
