  2. Goals: One goal on each end line, one for each team's defensive zone

  6. Team Blue GK: 1 yellow goalkeeper positioned on the goal line of the blue team's defensive zone
  7. Equipment: Cones marking the boundaries of the three zones, balls placed at each end line for restarts
Instructions
  1. Each team keeps players in their designated zones.
  2. Players aim to move the ball forward through the zones.
  3. Teams must pass effectively within their zone before advancing.
  4. Once a goal is scored or the ball goes out, restart from the opposite goalkeeper.
Coaching Points
  • Ensure players maintain effective angles and distance for support.
  • Encourage constant communication within the team.
  • Prioritize decision-making to advance the play.
  • Maintain depth to provide passing options.
  • Players should keep their head up to assess options.
  • Promote dynamic movement off the ball.
  • Emphasize playing forward at the earliest opportunity.
  • Focus on the quality of passes, ensuring accuracy and appropriate weight.
Variations
Make it harder:
1. Restrict the number of touches per player.
2. Increase the size of the zones to demand more precision.
3. Limit the time each team has to advance the ball through their zone.
Make it easier:
1. Allow players to move into adjacent zones.
2. Use smaller goals to reduce defensive pressure.
3. Give teams more time to progress the ball.
