Equipment, Setup & Instructions
Equipment
  • Cones for marking area and zones
  • Balls
  • Goals with goalkeepers
Setup
  1. Area: 20x25 yard area marked with cones, divided into two corridors, one split into 2 zones and the other into 3 zones.
  2. Goals: One small goal (marked by a cone target) at the end of each corridor, 2 goals total.
  3. Team Red: 3 red outfield defenders, 1 positioned in the two-zone corridor and 2 positioned one per zone in the three-zone corridor.
  4. Team Red GK: 2 yellow goalkeepers, one on the goal line at the end of each corridor.
  5. Team Blue: 4 blue outfield attackers, 2 positioned inside the corridors (one at the start of each corridor) and 2 positioned outside the playing area, each holding a ball as servers.
  6. Equipment: Cones marking the outer boundary of the 20x25 area, the two corridors, the internal zone divisions (2 zones in one corridor, 3 zones in the other), and a cone target at the end of each corridor; balls held by the outside attacking servers.
Instructions
  1. An attacker from outside passes the ball to the attacker in the corridor.
  2. The attacker dribbles to beat the defender and attempts to score.
  3. In the two-zone corridor, defeat the first defender, then beat the second upon entering their zone.
  4. After the shot, the initial server becomes the next attacker.
  5. Rotate attackers through the corridors for repetition.
Coaching Points
  • Maintain close ball control
  • Make quick decisions when and where to dribble
  • Use a good first touch and keep your head up
  • Stay positive and attack-minded
  • Employ effective dribbling techniques
  • Accelerate decisively when needed
  • Focus on the quality of finishing
  • Create space 1v1 and time on the ball
  • Show confidence in attacking defenders
  • Use various feints to beat opponents
  • Act quickly to penetrate the defense
  • Analyze play from outside the area
Variations
Make it harder:
1. Add a third defender in the three-zone corridor.
2. Decrease the space between zones for quicker decisions.
3. Limit the time attackers have before defenders can challenge.
Make it easier:
1. Allow attackers to start with an unobstructed dribble.
2. Reduce the number of defenders in the three-zone corridor to one.
3. Expand the zones to provide more space for attackers.
