Privacy Policy

Football Drill Hub ("we", "us", or "our") is an online platform that provides football coaching drills, session planning tools, and related resources to coaches and educators.

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information: Your name, email address, and password when you register directly.
• Google Sign-In data: If you sign in via Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We do not receive or store your Google password. This data is used solely to create and manage your Football Drill Hub account.
• Profile information: Club name, logo, and brand colour that you choose to add to your profile.
• Submitted content: Drills, session plans, images, videos, and any other content you submit to the platform. Please note that under our Terms & Conditions, ownership of all submitted content transfers to Football Drill Hub upon submission.
• Usage data: How you interact with the platform, including pages visited and features used.
• YouTube link data: When you link a YouTube video within a drill or session, we store that URL. The YouTube player embedded on the platform may independently collect data in accordance with Google's privacy practices — this is outside our control.

• To provide and operate the Football Drill Hub platform.
• To manage your account and authenticate your identity.
• To display your drills and sessions to you and, where marked public, to other users.
• To retain and use submitted drills and content on the platform, including after your account is deleted, in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.
• To improve the platform based on how it is used.
• To contact you about important changes to the service.

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a hosted database platform with industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit.

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information, but no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data with:

• Service providers: Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting), and other infrastructure providers necessary to operate the platform.
• Google: If you use Sign in with Google, your authentication is handled by Google LLC under their own privacy policy. We receive only your name and email address.
• YouTube / Google: YouTube videos linked on the platform are served by Google's infrastructure. When a video plays, Google may collect usage data independently of Football Drill Hub.
• Meta (WhatsApp & Facebook): If you share Football Drill Hub content via WhatsApp or Facebook, that interaction is governed by Meta's privacy policy. Football Drill Hub does not pass your personal data to Meta.
• Law enforcement: Where required by law, or where content submitted to the platform is suspected to be illegal or indecent, we will share relevant data with the appropriate authorities without notice.

We use cookies and local storage to maintain your login session. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can clear cookies at any time through your browser settings, but this will log you out.

Please be aware that embedded YouTube videos on the platform use Google's player, which may set its own cookies on your device. These are outside Football Drill Hub's control and are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
• Request deletion of your account and personal profile data.
• Object to certain uses of your personal data.

Important — submitted content: Please note that your right to deletion applies to your personal account data (name, email, login credentials, profile). It does not extend to drills and other content you have submitted to the platform. Under our Terms & Conditions, ownership of submitted content transfers to Football Drill Hub upon submission and that content will be retained after account deletion.

If you signed in via Google, you may also revoke Football Drill Hub's access through your Google Account Permissions. This does not automatically delete your Football Drill Hub account.

Football Drill Hub is intended for use by coaches and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Football Drill Hub is not responsible for any injury, accident, or damage arising from the use or misuse of any drill, training programme, or session plan on the platform. All content is provided for informational purposes only. Coaches and supervising adults are solely responsible for assessing the suitability of any content for their participants and for ensuring safe training environments.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes by email or by a notice on the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
